Director Commercial Operations & Strategic Alliances (East Windsor, N.J.)
 
Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the development of objectives, strategies and assignments in order to ensure the execution and success of product licensing opportunities. Identify and evaluate new product development and technology opportunities. Perform commercial and market assessment of development opportunities and present to Scientific Advisory Board. Initiate and develop partnerships to promote project concepts that are economical and strategically viable for the company. Serve as alliance manager for all business development partners. Ensure integration of strategic planning across all functions that impact development efforts and lead coordination efforts with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Pre-Clinical, Operations, and Marketing. Assess external factors such as pricing, reimbursement and policies and make recommendations regarding their impact and potential benefit/threat. Understand global markets and recommend ways to capitalize on opportunities the markets present. Reports to Chief Operating Officer.
 
Qualifications: MBA preferred. BS required. Minimum of 8-10 years pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory, preferably in licensing, business development, marketing, or commercial operations. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) is mandatory. Ability to travel approximately 30%. Understanding of product development and European regulatory environment are beneficial. Knowledge of product licensing agreements and licensing relationships.
